I am joining the seemingly increasing group of Briskoda members who don't actually own a Skoda. I took the Octy back to the lease company today. Strangley I didn't feel any loss at seeing the car go.:confused: It is a bit sad to see such a smashing motor go though. It went well, handled fantastically and was without doubt one of the best long distance cruisers I've ever driven.

The GT isn't quite in the same league for that sort of thing, although I am enjoying the twisties a lot more now.

maybe soon you will realise how much you miss it!! i know a few people who have given their octy back to the lease company get given a golfand a few months later realsised how green the grass really was on the octy side!

I'm like that on another forum, still a part of the forum even through I don't won that brand of the car.

It's getting there. I'm getting the driveshafts checked tomorrow and if they need sorting then that will need attention too. It's programmed in for a few other bits of work the day before the camping trip so hopefully it'll be in good order for the weekend.

I can't really deny you a drive as I've now driven both of your cars.
