Orta's Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

Bought the car in December 2007, picked it up just the other side of Xmas (Still with 5 days of manufacturer's warranty left!!) It was owned before me by a chap who worked for Skoda in Peterborough and it came with a full Skoda service history.

Bought it with the alloys already attached and the only other mod that I can see is the rear spoiler which... *looks thru folder* I actually have a receipt for!

The spec is as follows:

ENGINE:

Standard.

INTERIOR:

JVC MP3 Head Unit (Surround Lost damnit!)

WHEELS AND SUSPENSION:

16" Jet Black Ultraleggars

Toyo TR-1 Tyres on the front (Cheapies on rear)

EXTERIOR:

Mesh bottom grille.

Later Fabia badges on rear.

Rear Spoiler

Hi guys, been a while since I've posted an update.

I've had it up on the rollers to prove the car's power at 179.3BHP with 280 ft of torque.

Just a couple of shots attached that I took this morning after finally washing some of the salt, grit and other cr*p she's picked up over the last couple of weeks. My interior's still an absolute tip, if anyone could recommend a good fabric cleaner for my seats that'd be great??

I've finally added a cupra splitter (Picture 3), very pleased with the results... except I've broken the centre of it going over the extremely high speed bumps on my route to work, but it still looks the part.

Modifications have taken a back step atm because a few problems have cropped up. I had to fork out to get a replacement headlight to get it through the MOT, now I've got a problem with my door electrics, the problem seems intermitent as the electrics work when the temperature is very low!! Which is when I don't want my windows open!!

Coupled to that someone has keyed my car... looks like someone has fallen against it because there's a dent behind the first scratch (Probably some the handlebars of a bike) because I park in a road when I'm at work.... I'll get pics up of the marks soon too.
