Hello to everyone, on what is a great site. Greetings from Greece. When I came here the first thing I did was walk into the Skoda dealers and order a Fabia in Met green, with 16v engine. Its been a fantastic car.

Dealer support is great, even if you have a bad command of greek language. I've drove it for 16,000km with no problems whatsoever.

Had 15,000km service, cost 65Euro, took them 40 minutes. You people are lucky though, being able to wash and wax the car yourselves, its not possible if you live on the 4th floor of an apartment block. Some work colleagues drive for 1/2hr or so trying to find a parking spot!

I live in a village/town thats only about 20 km from Central Athens.

Welcome Sudale Im looking forward to coming over there in August for the Olympics - staying in Piraeus initially but then going on to stay in Mati (near Rafina). Are there many Skodas over there?

Almost all of the taxis are Skoda Octavias, and I see more and more fabias every day. The payments are interest free, and any garage work doesn't charge 'y the hour' as in the UK. Roads are nearly better-good luck for Mati- its the Marathon Route that will take you into Central Athens that runs by there...currently under construction-all of it! Hopefully ready soon. And we have a fantastic new motorway.
