Disaster

Ducatti seems to have tweaked again - just looks plain unbeatable.

Hayden must be just about as sick as can be.

This is gonna go all the way down to the wire

Big mistake by Rossi. Almost a carbon copy of Toseland last week.

Stoner seems unstoppable at the moment.

:mad:Got dragged off to Leeds to look at a rabbit:eek::eek:(don't ask).

Missed the race but the reports were not good reading for Rossi fans, & what have they done to that Duke.

Wow, what a lesson on supreme machine control fron The Porter (the artist formerly known as The Doctor):P. RDP must be well chuffed.

As Mr Mouse suggested, looks as if the remainder of the season is going to be really good and a nervous time for both the pro & anti Rossi brigades.

Clearly I'm right in that Rossi isn't the dominant force he used to be:P, however it remains to be seen whether he has a Championship in him or not.

Hayden - how gutted:eek:

Lorenzo - was he a flash in the pan or is he still hurting:confused:

Rossi - oops:rolleyes: glad he was okay though

Stoner - maybe, just maybe......he is that good

Pedrosa:confused: I reckon he is gonna be a Mamola, always a 'nearly' man

Hmmm, seems to be a recurrent theme here, Lance.

Are you sure everything is OK with your marriage ? ;)

I have heard too many ventures into the Nurburg ring can do this to a man :P

Haydon - Yes he deserved the podium

Lorenzo - Lacking confidence at the moment but he will be back

Rossi - Yes you are correct he is not the dominant force but he will still be in my top three.

The competition has got better it had to.

Stoner - With the Ducati only he can ride it. It suits his style. I am not so sure on another manufacters bike ? As the season before Ducati showed when he was on a Honda.

Pedrosa - You could be right.

Just back after being away for weekend.

Stoner was fairly unstoppable over the weekend. Rossi made a big bo-bo, just goes to show its worth while jumping back on and having a go. Good to see Hayden back up there mixing it, thirsty begger that Honda :) Talk about just making it .

Sorry to hear that it didn't live up to expectations:(, however as a few others have said or suggested......MotoGP at Donnington seems to be very badly organised every year. Unfortunately until the public stop going to it, the organisers need to little to rectify the situation.

Personally I think the organisation, the food & toilet facilities and the costs involved all need to be reviewed and amended/upgraded. They really do treat us like mugs at this event.

It'll take a mass boycott before they listen:mad:

Just my opinion of course

TBF:-

1) The circuit is under new(ish) management, and if you want to see rip-off pricing, check out an F1 race!

2) Traffic management isn't entirely the circuit's responsibility; the Police are involved too, and the location of Donnington almost where 3 counties meet must cause a few problems there.

3) A few years ago I attended an event in the exhibition centre (building outside circuit boundary just before Starkey's Bridge), on the same day as the last round of the National season (various classes; I would swear to Clubmans, so whatever else toured with them), and there were no traffic problems.

Fair play to the Whiner; he won it well, and yes Vale did make a mistake (unless Bridgestone supply evidence to the contrary), but that was some recovery ride. If he'd made a better start and not been off on lap 1 he'd have been up there somewhere too, but that would have deprived Colin Edwards of a well-earned podium.

And just WTF are Honda playing at? How do you make an air valve engine thirstier than a valve spring unit?

Em, according to a mate of mine, Vale lost half his gear lever in the crash. How much further might he have got if that had been intact? Yes Lance, it's speculation; try and live with the fact that I've accepted he made a mistake huh?

That is correct. On Eurosport, they showed you Rossi's bike when he pulled into the garage & the gear lever had broken off. All he had to flick gears with was a stubby selector that was at 90 degress to his foot!!

Ok Ken, whatever you say.:faint:

I saw this too John.....what a hero eh?

All I'm saying is that I think he'd have been faster with a complete gear lever (as would many of us).

Incidentally, I'd have got points in that race, as long as I'd not fallen off! ;):D

What? It was a sincere remark.

I don't think he's a hero. He had caused the damage.

But it takes a talented rider to ride at a pace he did with the damage he did to his bike.

And it's JON by the way.
