Nice one Dom:thumbup:

The new L&K 2.0 tdi with DSG is only doing 450 tops

Strange, I easily and regularly get 500 miles before top up and have a notoriously heavy foot... I did manage 600 miles once but was driving like an old man at the time as we were transporting the in-laws

Just ordered my 2nd 2.0 TDI Elegance Estate DSG. A brilliant car all round, and the box is in a league of it's own!!

I managed 44.5 MPG ( brim to brim) yesterday with my 1.9 PD DSG. That was done over 400 miles of city driving ;):D:thumbup:

I normally get 500 miles before filling - Best is 566! (2.0DSG)

SilveRS - Have you seen the VW fuel figures for the 1.4 Tsi (122ps) 7 speed dsg:-

Urban/Xurban/Combined

Manual 34.4/54.3/44.8

DSG 36.7/57.6/47.9

DSG figures are basically what I get with a diesel....OK not quite the torque! But they do show the benefit of the new 7 speed box.

Sunday just gone I did a trip to Stamford and back and a few smaller trips just after. Brim to fuel light coming on I got 440 miles. I do like to drive reasonably briskly but don't go over 80 these days due to 6 points and a court visit last year. My previous car would have easily seen 500+ miles from this stint.

Maybe I should remove to roof bars and see if this improves mpg a tad.
