New Fabia vRS

Featured Replies

:woohoo: Just picked up the new car, wow its even better than I remember from the test drive. I'm well chuffed.

I was worried that after the Cupra it was going to feel slow, but how wrong could I be I haven't pushed the car yet (got to remember, wait until 1000 miles) and the instant acceleration in gear is amazing. The steering is so precise and it rides so well, even dealer remarked how better the car handled than he remembered, said it must have been the strut brace I got them to fit.

Just one question, I've brought the Green panel filter in the recent group buy, Should I wait until the cars run in before fitting it or can I fit it straight away

Enjoy the ride.

Fit the filter straight away, wont matter.

Enjoy your new car :)

I see from the photo of your car that your wheels are filling the arches. This is one thing which I find a little bit annoying about my vRS - too much space above the wheels! Have you had the car lowered / put larger alloys on it?

Who is that question aimed at?
I think it's you, Ross ;)

Just a brake pad change and an air filter isnt it Ross??

Sorry, should have made that clear...the question was aimed at Ross :)

Got your PM :)

I think you should wait for say 5-10k before changing the air filter as there is little point changing it before this - especially as you are supposed to be running it in.
