VSport remaps

Featured Replies

I was there the other day and they were mapping a golf 1.8t 150bhp.

Do you spend a lot of time there then ?????

Reading with interest - but I have to say, 45 bhp is a hell of an increase for only a remap.

not a lot of time, I get finished around 3pm most days and its on the way home so I pop in for a chat with the lads.

Just had my car custom remapped at vsport.

Car made 178.9 bhp/188ft/lb before remap and 222bhp/246ft/lb after:thumbup:

Vsport stated that the car was loosing boost high up the rev range.

A full check of boost pipes and actuator were carried out and all seemed ok.

He recommended or suggested that the problem is with the n75 valve and that it should be changed either to a new one or he is going to investigate about the J-type valve.

Any comments on which valve to get

I will also do a search on the forum

Looks like good honest before and after figures michael, i hope you can feel the difference?

Yeah can notice the difference::thumbup:

Once the turbo kicks in it the acceleration is amazing -compared to standard.

Even had the ASR cut in which has never happened before -and thats with running 18" alloys with brand new toyo tyres:D

Now I need to uprate my brakes.

i def gonna go get one from him then. is it smooth? any surging or dead spots under mid accel?

have you got a graf? can you put it up?

let us know weather he says the J valve, think ill get one jus before I go up.
