rear fog lights

Featured Replies

Roomster scout - noticed that I appeared to have only one rear fog light ( offside ). Thought the nearside bulb was bust but when checked bulb was fine but no power to the socket - confusing - until I phoned the garage to be informed that the roomster has only one rear fog light - seems a bit strange - Is this correct?

JAMK

yes.

You can get around it by crimping some wire to the offside fog wire (make sure you know what one it is first) and then either stripping down the other end of the wire and putting it into the spare connector housing, or by getting the right male connector, crimping it on to the new wire and plugging it into the spare female connector housing.

it's a bit of a bodge job TBH, but it worked on the mk1 Fabia, and if the lamp is there in the roomster, than I don't see why it would not work on that too.

Only offside is Legal requirement in UK

Yep. With two fog lights you annoy twice as many people!

Same in whole Europe...

The rear fog light must in offside or center position....

You don't need the second one...
