I thought ALL Linux was meant to be free? The trouble with Linux is it's going the same way as Unix did in the 80s and 90s - too many flavours, and nobody knows which is which, coupled with the difficulty of learning it, iffy support, etc. etc. Of course everybody knows it's more efficient, but sadly what people at home want is ease of use, not technical superiority and a smaller footprint - and the hardware manufacturers are only too happy to pump out more and more power to keep Windows going...

I 'lent' mine to the Unix Manager at work as soon as it arrived ... about three weeks ago :(
