Clarkson on the Roomster.

An entertaining Read as all ways.

James - as discussed, the Evo review is part of my signature. vRoom !

Anyone else think "get to the point!"

In every single article, they only start with the real meat at the half way stage. Often the same in the Guardian magazine car tests. It's as if they're afraid that anything with any technical content will scare off the casual reader. Lazy journalism IMHO.

Stuart

Not a bad article, but he takes FAR too long to get to the point, almost as though he must fill up the column inches.

Whilst entertaining on TG, and we know that it is scripted ,all his articles in the papers make him appear to know nothing about cars, due to how little of the article actually reports on the car tested.

Or...

There's only so much you can say about a car. Especially sensible ordinary ones. So rather than bore us stupid with how many settings the intermittent wash-wipe has he fills half the column with some witty pontificating about whatever the hell is bothering him this week.

Suits me fine.

all his articles are like this, i have a book of them.

clarkson openly admits to knowing nothing about cars too
