Is it worth the extra cash over the K&N and is the 15bhp that they quote realistic?

The thing he liked with GG is that it sits in the standard air feed from the bonnet and as you said it looks ace:thumbup:

Personally, I think it's worth it from a 'looks' point of view and the fact that the GGR name graces it.

Yes, the slam panel air intake is great for a very direct path for the cold air feed. It is very smart this design. Simple but very effective.

In terms of power bhp gain, only GGR can answer that one. The link to their site is in the above post.

My car has other mods that were fitted from new along with the CAIS, so, I never did tell if 'just' the CAIS made a huge difference. A CAIS is a necessity though for a N/A engine though, especially in the ST Fiesta.

One thing I will mention though. The roar, whilst sounding nice, is quite intrusive inside the car. On the Motorway, the slightest increase in throttle position makes the CAIS roar again, a little tedious after 2 hours. ;)

But hey, I'm 40 now and probably too old for all this ... ;)

Very nice Jon.

I really like the Fiesta ST's but couldn't resist the noise that the Focus ST makes. :)

Oh and where are the FiestaSToc stickers? :P:D
