The latest PB dropped through the letterbox today.

Towards the back of the mag there was the obligatory "Next month..." teaser, which included a car vs bike article.

What makes it interesting was that they didn't say what car and what bike, but there were the Skoda and Yamaha logos.

Probably a Octy VRS vs an R1 and we'll find out that the bike's faster but the car brakes better and is easier to go fast in. Only time will tell

true,i watched a thing on one of the motoring programs about a porsch vs r1,a touring car driver in the porsce and carl fogerty on the bike,the car won but the bike was silly quick in a striaght line

I'm a Superb and a Bike owner. It's nice to have the comfort of the car, but for sheer adraline, you can't beat a bike. 0-60 in 3 seconds:eek: and knee down in the bends:)

It was Niall McKenzie on the R1 and Plato in the 911, Clarkson organised it and in Niall Mac's book he had a little section about that outing, let's just say according to Niall McKenzie it was engineered in favour of the 911.

Apparantly it was Plato's own 911, McKenzie had never touched the R1 before, he turned up, put his leathers on, no warm up, check tyre pressures etc etc, just hop on and go.

What have you got at the moment anyway mate? I have got an old XR Supermoto for sillyness and a Z1000 at the moment. On the shelf in front of me I have got a Rotrex supercharger for the Zed, it's been on the shelf since November last year as I have not had time to fit it.
