I saved just over £20 in there last week - didnt realise till i looked at the reciept the offer was on - will be goin back in to stock up on stuff this week

Always worth a look to see what other products they have from time to time.

I popped into the Halfords at Hermiston Gate on the outskirts of Edinburgh and the offer of 3 for 2 is only for Autoglym products.

From hayling go over the bridge, over the roundabout and then turn left at the next set of lights and it's on your right.

The poor old Scotish hard done by again Its 3 for 2 on everything on their website, maybe they just had old stickers up in the store. If not then just reserve on their website for store collection.

And yes, gillywibble the DFS sale DOES end this sunday :eek:

I feel done now. I did ask the assistant when paying that they should be all on 3 for 2 but they said it was only AG.

Not sure if it's worth contacting them for £8.

I did end up spending £45. 3 Megs proucts and 3 AG.

Yes, I'd contact them and ask for your money back. Also, I'd of bought them in two lots to ensure that I got the best deal possible... remember it'll always be the cheapest one you get free.

I did buy them in 2 lots. In the past I've needed megs applicator pads and microfibre clothes as wll as other shampoos and the like and saved about £15 instead of £6.

I've also just phone their customer services and the said to go into the store to get a refund as they should have all been covered.

To be honest it's not that clear on their site, but the AG offer is.

Any advice on what Megs stuff to get? Will be heading North in the new vRS on Thursday, so plenty of chance to pop by one! Thanks.

I got their Hot Rims wheel cleaner to use occasionally on stubborn tar spots.

Megs Endurance Tyre Gel is fab.

Megs NXT shampoo is about the best over the counter wash available.

The Megs clay kit is a very good starter it includes the clay, lube, microfibre and cleaner wax.

I also bought their metal polish for a try as I've just finished my tube of Autosol.

Their wheel brush is pretty poor as is their drying towel (Watermagnet) it goes hard after a few washes and creates marks and doesn't lift the water very well.

Their range of interior brushes are good.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head but I'm sure someone else will be along shortly.

Yep, when i was there at lunchtime it were still the same.

Only AG products were marked as 3-2. :thumbdwn:

When I was in halfords there three for two offer included everything as I bought some auto glym interior clearnr, microfibre clothes (halfords) and a halfords wash mitt.

so it includes halfords own brands too??

still on, got some bits today that i actually needed, seems to only be autoglym only at the swindon store this afternoon.

Was in two stores last week (Ayr & Aberdeen) and it seems it's just the Autoglym one left. They reckoned the full 3 for 2 ended on the Tuesday, which would've been the 12th of August. I even tried Halfords on the phone, but on phoning me back they confirmed this I'm afraid. Ach well....

does anyone know if this offer is still running or did it end after the bank holiday?
