Should be easy for you then - one to get the connections/coding from and another to setup the same...

We all know how you love those beer tokens

Top marks for persistance!!

Why don't you buy the Kufatec Loom and see what that's like.

Just might have to do that, but with fear of shotting myself in the foot - Why have a dog and bark yourself?

Runs off to hide...

Still wondering if any Octy owner has retrofitted this?

I understand the pleasure of DIY, but be aware that this TPM is IMHO and as already written on may threads, meaningless and unuseful.

I.e. it lets you drive with wheels at much lower a pressure than optimal (this is another can of worms...), assuming both wheels have a similar pressure value.

It will notify the driver if the rolling wheel radius indicates a loss from the stored value to 3PSI or more over a set period.

Most people with gripes moan that it doesnt show their tyres have been slashed or a blow out is near. No systems in the same car price range would.

For a £45 factory option, it is worth it IMO. retro fit needs the ABS sensors VRStu (IIRC) posted from a link to a forum about them on an A3 (again IIRC)
