Anyone on here got access to Glass to get ball park figures for used (selling) car prices?

Im after a selling price (private or trade in) on a

57 plate Fiat Punto Dynamic sport 8v, has all the feature inc skydome sunroof, sub woofer, air con. Engine is a 1.4

about 5000 miles on the clock.

Can anyone help?

Don't have 'the book' but if you go to this Vauxhall site, then select 'Owners' then 'Value your car' that will give you free access to Glass part exchange prices

Sorry I don't have the answers you are after but would like to join your thread if you don't mind...I posted earlier tonight - Trade In Price...How Much !

We have a 56 reg Subaru Impreza Sprortwagon 1.5r (20 months old with 7k on the clock...absolutely mint). Just been offered between £4800 & £5000 (paid over £12.5k for it) against a brand new Mazda 5 at list of between £20 - £21k...family circumstances force the change or we would keep the Scooby.

If anyone has any insider info, I'd be very grateful. Am I likely to get a better trade in price against a used car v new? I'd sell it privately if I could get somewhere around £7.5k for it.

Oh, by the way, some of the better sites online for prices are Parkers, What Car, Autotrader & Used Car Expert. They all quote much higher prices for the Scooby but are they reliable?

Try the Vauxhall site link I posted above. It covers all makes and models. I've been told (when trying to px mine) that the price you get is often less than Glass in the current climate. Much depends if the dealer can sell yours and make a profit on what you pay him for your next car

thanks for that guys...some ammo for my next/further visits to the dealers...Glasses suggests Mazda's price was at best £1.5k short or even £2k less than I should be expecting, which is in line with other sites & my thoughts. I could do a deal at that, but not if they stick with circa £5k !!!
