New Superb Colours

Featured Replies

Just plastic, I'm afraid. The Skoda CZ brochure calls it 'imitation wood'.

Personally, I think £125 is a lot of money for some bits of plastic.

Have to say that's disappointing - takes the edge off the whole perceived quality angle. Although i didn't spot it on the VIP day!

Having seen the red close up I have to say I like it...and the wood ....I like that too

Storm Blue Metallic SEXAY

I agree with you on the standard trim. I've ordered a Satin Grey 2.0 PD in SE trim (company car via lease) . It will be first time I've experienced this Alcántara pseudo-suede upholstery which is std for the SE - anyone got any experience of it ?

Alcántara has been used for quite a few years by Audi! Recall a version on the original TT that had little rubber knobies to stick you to the base of the seat...

I believe the "Wood" to be the best plastic available ..........lol I am having it too

Bagpuss - ref your shot of several different coloured cars in a line - is the colour of Satin Grey "in the flesh" similar in appearance to the way it has come out in your photo (i.e. pretty much like the 3rd car from the front looks in the photo) ?

i have it in my passat (1.8T sport B5). and they are heated. they are great. you get the premium feel of not having std cloth but dont get the downsides of leather (slippy, hot in summer, cold in winter). best combination for me.

That colour is pretty accurate. Here are some more shots of satin grey.

I think it's a really nice colour.

Any chance of some pics of it in Storm Blue?

Certainly. I suspect your car will look very much like this:

My new Passat (55 plate) is Mocha pearl and the colour is stunning in the metal.

It looks really classy and different enough from the black but seems to have a kind of copper/brass spark to it.

My car also has a latte full leather interior, not sure if this is an option on the Superb II but the colour interior suits the exterior perfectly.

The colour in the car above is called 'Ivory' by Skoda, and is available in the UK. You can also have Onyx leather as well, which is what I've gone for. With little ones around, a light colour would be a bit of a disaster.

The latte isn't that light, it's kind of an earthy caramel, if that makes sense?

Ivory would be too light IMO and show every mark and dirt.

Like I said not sure on the colour options for the leather but vw use standard and nappa leather then a range of colours over and above that.

Feck me look at the leg room in that pic above - you can have a party in there!

I know exactly the colour you mean. I had a Passat Estate demonstrator with that colour last year. I liked the colour, but it's not an option on the Superb. The Superb uses a combination of Nappa and artificial leather, but I'm not sure which bits are which.

Many thanks Bagpuss for the pics. I think it looks stunning in the Storm Blue:thumbup:

Definitely. I also think it looks really good with the Ivory interior. Much better than with the Onyx (which I've also got some pictures of).
