I just feel you could be making a huge mistake - it's an unknown car basically and better the devil you know etc...

Upto you, of course, but I could never recommend taking this path. After all, you can do things in stages and it needn't cost you £1700 for a turbo and FMIC.

I knew the lad from school, lives in the same town, all find out the crack first ;)

think of it this way...

if you buy this car, you will spend more money making it look good than you will making your current one faster.

£150 for a bumper and some elbow grease /\ ?

I'll find out the crack.

can you judge a book by its cover?

in my honest opinion, that is the worst looking fabia in the uk, infact possibly the worst on this planet! it'll take more than a bumper to sort.

this car was on barryboys a while back.

you will only live to regret it, if you seriously want a quick fabia, adray-m on here is possibly selling his... http://briskoda.net/cars-sale/sale-allard-tuned-220bhp-fabia-vrs-high-spec-7000-a/95824/

(the for sale thread when the car was last up for sale)

pretty much same spec although its been lowered and has porsche wheels now.

No, but I think I can see some of the contents as well :)

yes quite easily when its been owned by a chav! anyone can tell just from the pics that, the car has been hammered!

I dont think I would ever buy a car thats been modified.

And thats coming from someone who has owned 2 modified cars.

You just don't know what the owner has treated the car like.

I treated my cars well, but I'm sure your all too aware of the amount of morons that own done-up cars.

Unless it was owned by a Techie or a decent mechanic, I would steer clear, but thats just me.

I think it's safe to say that if the guy's dad were really a millionaire, he doesn't let him anywhere near his money otherwise the car wouldn't be parked on this estate:

And as has been said, the receipt for the hybrid turbo won't tell you if it's been blown and replaced with the original. I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really wouldn't go anywhere near it - you'll be bonnet-up on the side of the road before you can say Reebok Classic... :(

Agree...

This car looks like its been done on the cheap.

Just look at how badly that grill has been fitted.

You would have to spend £1700++++ to make that a good car again.

And even then I dont think I would want it.

Just take your time, spend your money wisely and make your car into a rocket.!

Michael

I was thinking just the same thing.........unless his father is Lord Muck of 5hit Island.

Wouldn't bother simply for the fact you know what your car is like so mod that dont by a stranger which might have a bad history (or it may not).

that car looks like a complete pile of ****e in that pic, look at the chav standing by it,doesn't give you confidence in buying it,probably been bollacked to hell and back

Haha! Don't do it man...

Jase, dont do it mate.

Seems like you're looking for a shortcut to a Hybrid car.

Defo not worth it.

It's called Diesel Dog for a reason !

An not cause it's the dogs b0ll0cks !!!

Also, the fact the sourceo f those pics are from Barryboys, says it all !

As i said before...

Save up the money.

Get it done your self.

Then you know it has been done properly.

In the long run you will save your self alot of money...

and also save alot of respect.

I cant get over how badly the grill on that car has been done.

Michael

I will have been thrashed to within an inch of its life or further. I would walk away.

Simon

I seem to detect a strength of feeling agains this purchase from the Briskoda faithful. I wonder if he's got the message yet?! :rubchin:

:D

Humm, i actually think my Yellow vRS would make those lights look good.

Especially with black wheels. Going for the bumble bee look. :)

Rub strips majic black?

I saw this car on ebay for ages. Im trying not to be judgemental, but you can tell its a chav that owns it, just look at his mate looking at the camera!

And you know how chaves drive.

Its probably got a load of 'power chips' and 'supercharger' under the bonnet

You're probably right for a yellow Fab. Just a shame that they're not suitable for RHD Fabias.

Unless some have been secretly released I don't know about (which is possible as I'm not interested, I have xenons :P)

Steve

The attire of the gent on the left of the pic speaks volumes.

There is not a bargepole in all of Christendom long enough for me not to touch that steaming turd of a car.

In the name of all that is holy, WHY???

In the name of all that is holy, WHY???

One can only assume he's been in for a frontal labotomy recently.......
