I need to know spark plug squeance and fireing order

The spark sequance and order is for a favorit 4 cilander:)

I though it was 1-3-4-2 for all 4-cylinder engines? :confused:

Can also be 1-2-4-3 depends on DOR

Felly is 1-3-4-2

Pretty sure A series Minis run that way as the 'front' of the engine is on the n/s

if you've muddled up the ht leads turn over the engine to Top centre, the rotor arm should point towards number 1, then turn the engine 180 degrees forward, then it will point towards number 3 etc etc

One furthest away from you at the top on dissy cap is number one. I think the arm goes clockwise? so then firing order clockwise.

skoda favorit if the distributure tower no 1 is at approx ten oclock pisto one is at tdc but no compression only when the rotor is at 4 oclock is there compession the distributure can only be put in one way, what gives, also im setting the valves at 8thousands dont know mm at all i to am a aniique

I think 8 thousandths is too close. Should be 0.2mm with engine cold.

8 thou is roughly 0.2mm:thumbup:

Did you have the dissie out when you were working on the engine? If so, it's not impossible that it's not gone back in right. I've even seen professional mechanics need several tries before it's been in on the right alignment to get the engine to start.
