looks very very good... how did you get the vents out... and did you fold the film kit behind or just cut arround?

ditto , how do you take the vent panels off?

If its the same as the Octy then just gently lever them out with a screw driver. Once out the front section will just unclip too. Just take it easy and use a wide flat blade.

As Dave said..

Once you have removed the vents by gently prising out, the front will unclip - giving you a fairly flat piece of plastic to work with, making things easier.

Then you just use the craft knife to cut away what you dont need and making the necessary holes.

Pulling the film over and behind where you are able to will give a better finish. Using the hot air gun/hairdryer makes the film much more flexible to work with.

Pretty sure the film is availble in several finishes so you have lots of choice!

WOW thats exceptional work.

Don't suppose you wanna do mine :p

Might have to look into doing this.

Just out of interest, as I'm a bit baffled....When you say hot air gun....did you mean hairdryer or is there actually a thing called a hot air gun that would be a lot more effective?

Hair dryer would do exactly the same thing. I just used a knackered old paint removing heat gun on its low setting which would be about the same as a hair dryer.

May just take slightly longer to heat up the film thats all.

Certainly a hair dryer would do the trick - no need to buy anything else. :)

Cheers mate :) You've been very helpful. Much appreciated.

Hey, just noticed, heated seats, nice!

slightly off topic but..

I have a 320ci convertible I was bored of the silver trim around the dash and doors and on the seat belt clips so I bought a Carbon fibre transfer kit from ebay and covered it all. it worked better than any sticker I have ever seen, it gave me a whole new look!

I tried to upload pictures for you to see the brand new finish it gives but it wont let me. Sorry!
