looks a bit granddad ish to me, that or something arover owner would want. But hey I'm 22 and don't like wood inserts so my opinion doesn't really count does it,

I agree it could do with something to brighten it up I'm just not sure what

Some of us get fake plastic wood included ;):D

did it lok any good?

I had the plastic wood trim on both my Felicia and my current Fabia. And I'll be getting it fitted to my vRS when it comes.

Without it, the interior - especially the vRS with its black rooflining - is unmitigated grey/black dreariness, so it needs lifting with something.

Butt's do a selection of kits. Clean surfaces well and warm the plastic before fixing it. Never had any problem with them peeling off.

Oh and if you don't like trim kits, that's fine by me: makes my car even more special!

Flatfourburble, They do a number of finishes in carbon / coloured /ally etc. not just wood

might be worth a look?

don't milotec do the proper plastic dash inserts. Surely they would look less tacky than stick on stuff?????

doer1 yeah they do I was just being silly about the wood!! :P Ally looks nice though.

Monkeychild I've had a quick look at the site but I think their's is a stick on kit aswel, might be wrong though?

The Milotec ones are stick on not rigid .

You want carbon? dismantle your dash and send all the parts away to www.autoperfections.co.uk will be a lot better than stick on foil... did I mention the cost? ahem...<8-/ from 60 squidlies

Thanks tfboy, I couldn't get the smileys to work and I'm using an american keyboard and I seem to have lost the pound ( sterling) key!!!! The Yanks seem to think the # symbol is called a 'pound sign' ...odd people!

I am in florida at the mo and have the same problem with the # key :)

i have fitted a carbon one to my fabia pretty simple, only cost me 60 quid from czech

I had the Buttco 'wooden' dash kit on my TDi. It looked ok, as I had the beige interior . I am also considering the options now on my vRS. I don't think the wooden effect will suit, and likewise would like to hear from anyone who has installed the Silver aliminium look or carbon. I agree with some that the dash needs a wee bit of brightening up. All different I suppose

I have the Skoda plastic wood kit on mine.. was on when I bought it (demonstrator) so not really any choice...

Would I have spent money on it myself... maybe
