Starting a conversion for a Fabia vRS Estate

Featured Replies

I have purchased a complete smashed Fabia vRS and am looking into putting the complete running gear, interior, suspension, brakes etc onto an Estate. I also have coilovers and a hybrid turbo too.

I believe, although this is going to be time consuming, it should not be too difficult as i have the complete donor car.

Was also thinking of adding a subtle bodykit and having it sprayed Race Blue Metallic while it is a bare shell.

Any thoughts?

is the answer 7?

Yeah, don't spray it race blue metallic, lol or you could, then put gold wheels on it, a huge spoiler, neons...

Stick with a 'proper' vrs colour, or something different, look at Stuart Hatch's car, stunning, better than any vrs colour imo

I'm going to hide now while all the SE owners direct hate at me  ...............

Do it in a non-vrs colour.....Anthracite grey perhaps.....

In the process of doing the very same myself.

good luck Alex , i'm sure when its finished it will look superb whatever colour its painted

White is the new Race Blue!

Sleeper!!!

Keep it looking boggo from the outside - people will never suspect the power!

White!

Definitely white. Race Blue is a good colour on an Octavia, but I think the Fabia looks very ordinary in anything other than black, white or red (sorry to all you silver car owners).

I would have had an estate vRS if it was possible to buy one, so I heartily approve of the plan!

Make it different because it is different. Nice metallic Cherry Red.

Cheers, go with a funky colour from the vw/audi range

What about putting a proper engine in it?

Go with Race Blue and make it look like the concept car / design study that Skoda did a few years back.

That was my idea, i loved the look of the concept vRS when they posted the pictures, just a shame it never materialised as usual

16"

my word - could be two fabia estate mongrels out there. :D

Wasn't one member on here already trying to do this?

Metalic grey gets my vote.

my old Combi vRS "ish" :)

I vote for VW Jazz Blue.

Keep us posted - a vRS Combi would be excellent!

Oh and the wheels look like 17"s. There a lot less tyre on there than the 16"s on my vRS.

Now thinking that Renault Liquid Yellow may look smart. Will allow me to keep many of my yellow colour coded bits from my current Fabia vRS too
