You seem to be missing a 'D' somewhere...?

I believe you'll find WaveyDavey has already held his hands up about the missing 'D'. :P

Further, and just before your post, is my possible workaround. ;)

You are right, he did correct himself, but for some reason that post wasn't there when i quoted him this morning, only the post about the 3 badges

Not to worry

Sure, sure, I like totally believe you, dude! :rubchin:

Maybe the site was under going some 'updates' during a quiet period...

The site is under going some updates, please bear with us while we finish them off.

Either way, the problem was spotted before you bought the badges, so it's not an issue :)

Agree the Lexus lights look Chavtastic. What an idiotic comment about removing the rear wiper. So to look "cool" one wants to be unsafe and have zero visibility out of the rear window when driving on wet roads. I have added OEM mudguards and treat my windows with RainX and I still rely on frequent use of the rear wiper when driving in the wet.

So any car that comes with no rear wash wipe is unsafe?

The more you post ,the bigger the idiot you look

S'ok, I'm jus joshin witcha... :)

Has anyone on here had their front and rear door handles removed?

If so any pics?

Following on with the smooth theme, i think subtle mods are fine.

If its there it has to work, but if its not then it is still legal.

Saloons don't normally have them fitted, just hatchbacks

LOL, best get my mum's S40 T5 taken off the road until it's safe to use.

There's a big difference between a saloon and a hatchback. I've learnt long ago that there's no point trying to have a sensible discussion with people of lower intelligence than yourself. Also those that insist on removing door handles - I hope you don't expect the fire brigade to cut you out in an accident. One assumes that this will be one of the passing fads that will quickly look really stupid like the Lexus-style rear lights, shaded repeaters and so on. And to everyone that "de-badges", well if everyone is doing it, it hardly makes you an individual does it and seeing as there is only one Fabia sports model, you aren't exactly making it stealthy.

I am assuming your lack of intelligence comment is a little dig at me,and it may seem like i have singled out one or two of your posts recently,i just take exception to you posting your opinions as though they are facts. I have no problems at all with opinions people hold, but to aggressivly try to force your statements home grates on me a little,it may be you don't mean to come across that way but in my opinion your posting style is a little on th obnoxious side

Yes thats obviously what im saying. :)

I can see out my rear window thanks.

If my window is dirty it means the car needs a clean.

I use Autoglym window protector on my glass and have no problem with seeing out my windows.

If it does get to a point (long m/way journeys) thats also why i have mirrors on my doors to see behind me.

Vans with no rear windows? They cant see out their back window.

And there are alot more of them on the road than Fabia's with no rear wipers.

Bla bla bla, would you like me to continue?

Good to see that someone is thinking that all the mods done to these cars are to make them look and feel different to every other car on the road.

We all do mods to our cars for the simple reason of "WE WANT TO".

Not always to be different, not always to be stealthy, Not always because it has to be done. but just because "WE WANT TO AND WE CAN"

Debadging is a drivers preference, make no performance diference, doesn't change the colour of the car and doesn't make the owner more or less cool. It just makes our cars ours. If we wanted indiviual we would all go and design and build our own cars...

the above comment was at you tag1_uk for a reason I personally feel that Gary was 100% right. if your opinions are not constructive and helpful or in a polite manor then please refrain from saying them.

thank you...

Ive read the skoda badge is 'pinned' on, what about the big nasty FABIA and the little VRS badge on the right handside. Are they just glued on?, wouldnt mind ditching the FABIA and maybe getting the Octy VRS badge.

The 'Fabia' lettering is just held on by sticky pads, so can be removed easily with a hairdryer, some dental floss and tar/bug remover to tidy up any left over glue.

I did mine earlier in the year and its much better for it (IMO)

Sorry its not the best pic, i was looking for best reflections in this shot, not the lack of the 'Fabia' badge ;)

............. What an idiotic comment about removing the rear wiper. So to look "cool" one wants to be unsafe and have zero visibility out of the rear window when driving on wet roads..........

So going with your theory does that mean that any small van, (Fiesta courier, Corsavan, Transit connect, Citroen Belingo etc etc etc.....), which has solid rear doors and no rear view mirror is unsafe to drive in wet conditions???? After around 18 years of driving such vehicles i can pretty much confirm that isn't the case.

Cheers

Dave.

There's a very practical reason to lose the Fabia badge- the same reason i lost all but the four-ring badge on my Audi- The lettering is a real pig to clean around properly. I've considered losing all but the Skoda badge on mine for that reason.
