£213!! What the hell that's so cheap. Is that 3rd party only on a bicycle or something!

Bargain!

The Esure website is really good for quotes actually, you can go back and forth all day trying different things. Adding my dad reduces the price, adding my mum increases it! Sexist or just statistical.....!

Nah, i'm just old and sensible, and i thnik my post code is pretty decent for insurance, so it all adds up. :)

Hi,Sorry you feel you have had issues with us.Please pm me your details and i can arrange a call back at a set time for you to discuss your problems.Dan.

Sorry, Ive had it with the company you work for. With something as important as car insurance, do you not agree with me that it needs to be right first time round, not after several attempts.

All these problems have stemed from simple trivial changes. If you cant get any of those right just think of the fun id have if i needed to make a claim. *shudders*!

And you think i am going to give you my personal details..... a person posting on an internet forum..... no thanks!

Adrian flux are the biggest set of morons on the face of the planet and I wouldn’t ever buy insurance from them again!

Here’s my story...

1st problem

changes car over from the fabia to the Volvo..... They got the reg wrong when I told them it slowly and clearly! So I had to wait again for my cover note to come through before I could collect the car.

2nd problem

had to have a courtesy car and needed to arrange my own cover. Rang AF up and added the car as a temporary car. The person I spoke to confirmed that she would send out an invoice and I could then pay it. No invoice came, and then 3 weeks later I get a nasty letter saying they have cancelled my insurance!

3rd problem.

I wanted to put my private plate on the Volvo. Phoned up, told them the new reg, and asked them to repeat it back to me..... Alls good I think. Wrong cover note comes through with a completely wrong Reg. WTF cant you people do anything right?

4th problem

Contacting AF seems to be a real problem... I can’t phone them as I don’t have access to a phone at work. And I am out of the house from 7am until 8pm everyday. As Adrian flux shut at 5:30 I thought I would give the online service a try. Got reply email back saying the system didn’t work and could I please phone them up?

Well guess what, I will be phoning you up tomorrow.... to cancel my fooking policy!

adrian flux refused to quote my car for a standard policy,i wasn't allowed to drive to work in it:rofl:

I have allways found them next to impossible to deal with, none of the staff have any idea about modification and when you need something from them they take forever, but when they say you didn't send your no claims(when you did and have the letter they sent back and the full policy docs)they send threatening letters,i will never use them again:thumbdwn:

On the other hand if you ring swinton specialist, they have staff who really understand your mods, the girl on the other end of the phone knew exactly what a atb diff was,and a dogbone mount, and they were 500 quid cheaper than af,i agree with you john af are all a bunch of clowns,in fact they are not cos clowns are funny and there is nothing funny about this mob:thumbdwn:

Sorry about the flaming guys, you peeps on here appear to know your stuff, and i'm sure would do your best for us,its the rest of the idiots your firm employs that lets it down.

Just reference the above - we use these as security checks as they're unique.

Sorry to get to this point, but they are also highly insecure as most people will be able to find them out if they can find your name.

It seems there are a lot of people with a voice unhappy with this company, but must say pat on the back for them to reply to your not so happy posts, well done on that part at least.

In the interests of balance, I went with them last time round as Chris Knott's quote went sky high. I pay 465 fully comp all mods declared and insured to a power output of 250 bhp. If the car were to be a total loss, I'm assured all the mods would be also replaced like for like as well as the car. I also found that everything was done correctly first time round, and have had no issues other than good service to date.

I pay 465 fully comp all mods declared but only because i'm sooooooo old
read between the lines;)

on balence i bet if i were to deal wit one of the af reps on here i would have no problems whatsoever, but i allways seem to get the special one:(

I'm sorry that i won't be able to help you.If you change your mind your welcome to pm me your details and i'll do what i can.Dan.

I pay 465 fully comp all mods declared and insured to a power output of 250 bhp.

'Official 0 to 60 mph - 5.85 seconds. Standing 1/4 mile - 14.3 seconds. 251.5 BHP and 400 lbs/ft of torque. Oh - and 55 mpg on a run '

Does that mean you aren't insured for the 1.5 hp over and above the allowed amount?

Well i got my quote through from Adrian Flux, not too shabby at £252.

Quite impressed.

Although i've been quoted cheaper, so not sure how good they are at matching others.

I've pm'd a couple of you with issues. No-one expects you to put your personal details on here - of course not - we deal with pms, and I'll give out my email address as well beforehand or as much as you need to know we're genuine.

In respect of security, yes we do respect that of course. And I know how easy it can be for people to get hold of your details now - this would probably apply though for whatever check we asked you. For example reg, date of birth, postcode, address, even a password - these things can all be found out by a determined person, if paperwork isn't shredded etc. It's a shame we have to live like that - we do try our utmost to ensure that we are asking questions that aren't as easy for an 'outsider' to gtet hold of. We also make sure if we're dubious one hell of a lot of random questions are asked as well before dealing with the client. If you phone up and they ask they are doing what has been instructed of them - but absolutely you can say that you don't want to provide them. You are under NO obligation whatsoever.

Someone said there are quite a few people with voices who are unhappy - and I believe in speaking up if you are unhappy, that's how things get sorted. So please, if you need anything at all, let Dan or I know. We're not paid to just defend the company and say 'Adrian Flux are always right' - because they're not. Human error may occur, what we're saying is that your feedback is great for us to prevent error and to go forward and better the service.

If anyone wants to speak with me directly just let me know, I am more than happy. Evenings is fine for those of you in work. Also, if you ever have any get togethers not a million miles from where we're based (King's Lynn) and want someone insurance wise to come along for any questions then I'm happy to.

Basically - Dan and I are here to help and really want to, so please don't hesitate to speak up.

Jen

the quote I had from Bell this time round

Bell get a big hand from me, great insurer, £200 cheaper than anyone else for me.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

In the interest of balance and fairness...

Received terrific service and a very good quote on a highly modified car from them last week :)
