At last managed to to turn off the annoying click when locking my l&k,also found in the 'setup' menu how to unlock all doors with one press on the the remote, only taken me 11 months.RTFM.

Therin lies the first lesson.

What click exactly?

I think that he means the little audible 'chirp' which the car makes when you lock it from the remote. It's a handy feature as you are sure that the car is locked, even when you can't actually see it!

Yep organist, that's it,it niggles me;my previous 2005 1.9dsg wasn't programmed to 'blip',anyway, good ol' Skoda has thoughtfully given us options.

Cheers.

I like the 'blip' on locking the car; saves me looking at it.

How do you reset the remote for one click (all door) opening? Would prefer to do this and on my Roomster as well.

Hi Bahnstormer

it is also in the maxidot setup menu. There you have the choice how to open the car. (or auto-locking when driving over 10mph and/or auto-unlocking when taking out the key).

how do i get a beep when i lock the doors?

There is a setting on the maixidot to enable/disable the 'chirp' when the car is locked. If you don't have maxidot, you would have to visit someone with VAGcom or your dealer.

This setup menu only is in the cars from modellyear 07 on.
