Felicia 1.3L

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have recently acquired a Felicia 1.3L 1997 (P) which is totally immaculate and covered only 37,000 miles. It is intended to use it for the shorter journeys as it's fuel consumption is much better on these trips than my other car. I do have 2 questions, if anyone could help please, the air vents near the doors do not have much airflow, is this normal or is there a fix, and secondly, as no radio has ever been fitted, if I remove the cover on the roof, was an ariel cable fitted as standard on this model, and if not, is this an easy job to complete. Many Thanks for any assistance.

Can't help you on the second one but yes, the air vents near the doors are more of a decoration than of practical use (on my Felly at least).

Welcome to Briskoda, and congrats to a choice well done, an immaculate Felcia with low mileage should give you lots of trouble-free mileage! And if not, we're always here to help as long as we can :)

Same here on the vents, not sure on the ariel cable though.

Again same on the vents but I also point the vents closer to the windows at the windows which is a better bet.

Not sure about the aerial. But i think the cables should be there, if not you'll prob have to feed the aerial cable through. But its not hard as the plastic interior panels just snap on and off (look for screws first!) and you may have to feed it through the headlining.

Welcome to club Felicia. Great cars and relatively simple too :D

there should be an aerial cable yes, it will be terminated to a ring terminal which is secured to the bottom of the aerial by a nut. you might have to fish around for it though, if you remove the upper trim at the rear you should be able to get your hand in there
