dont you just hate abs

Featured Replies

Its chucking it down here where i live at the moment, just got in from the trip to asda but good god dont you hate it when the abs kicks in when you brake on a wet drain cover or something like that. scares the **** out of me every time!

feels like some cogs are turning lifting my brake pedal up i guess thats normal?

no fun!!! it does it on speed bumps too!! grrr!!!

But then if you're braking hard on with a wet drain cover under you on a fast road, you'll probably appreciate it a lot.

So you'd rather not have ABS?

Yes that's normal. As others have suggested, it's better than the wheels locking: the feedback though the pedal is to warn you that if you didn't have ABS, you'd instead have locked wheels and be sliding...

so locking a wheel and having ABS cut in is annoying??

i'll stick ABS thanks :)

I don't have ABS :o

My Felly is a safe car though, only locked the brakes once.

I wish I had ABS

Since changing a front wheel bearing hub I don't have either ABS or traction control and in this weather my remapped combi is a proper handful.

I had wheelspin in 3rd gear today, madness.

Yes, he's a ****.

ABS once (probably) saved my life. So, um, I'm actually quite fond of it. Sorry to disagree.

Whats ABS?

That thing that rattles your foot to tell you you've underestimated the braking distance and are about to hit something.

Beefcake.
