Ouch

Featured Replies

Here's as good an advert as any for modern strong cars and for wearing your seatbelt-I doubt I'd have walked away or even lived otherwise! Was delivering this hire car for work on 25/08/08 when I hit a spillage on a damp road at 50ish...nothing more than backache (which has got worse :() and a few wee cuts. I'm a lucky boy!

You bet correctly... :thumbdwn:

Score!

Another Ford off the road.

Looks like a sore one, glad your "OK" though.

Could have been alot worse.

My mate had a bad accident in his fiesta recently.

He was in a bad way though.

Broken neck and back and his seatbelt managed to rip his ear off.

But, i dont know how, hes fine now!

We were talking about our first crashes in motors when he was in the hospital, and turned out there was 5 of us that had our first accident in a fiesta!

Wierd or what?

If it had gone further off to the left, I'd have rolled into a loch, if it had gone to the right, I'd have hit oncoming traffic or a 10 foot rockface. So yeah, it could have been really bad

Glad your mate's ok now, that sounds nasty :(

Maybe Fiestas are cursed? I'm not a lunatic driver like so many people I know, and I've had my licence nearly a year without even a parking scrape...but I jump into a Fiesta and, well, the rest is history!

Goes to show how things can change in a split second though.

ooops..... what road was that on.....?

The main spinal route that connects Stornoway and Tarbert, forget the number at the minute. A859 perhaps.

where's the spillage??

where's the spillage??

I tell you, there'd have been a spillage if I'd been in it :)

where's the spillage??

Back there somewhere! Didn't exactly go back to analyse it before they put me on the spinal board  police found it tho.

Can seriously see why bikers hate diesel so much.

bet there was a spillage inside the fiesta too......

That officially makes you a member of the IBMA

For the exact rules you would have to contact the boss of the IBMA ...Devonutopia..... but I think any inverted Briskoda member is eligable

Is it me or does that Fiesta look spooky without the lights? Like its soul has been taken away.... oh wait... it's a ford.

Glad you're ok but also glad that another fiesta is off the road.

There are 2 subsections in the IBMA:-

1) Those who've inverted a Skoda.

2) Those who've inverted something else, like me.

Cheers guys! Relatively unharmed IBMA member and proud(ish)!

Yeah, the fiesta has indeed had it. Wasn't much of a fan of them before, much less so now believe me! It looks as though both lights were lost, but the passenger side one is still hanging down by the wheel...as if it's had its eyes pecked out. (I'm not warped, honest...)

I suppose it should be some consolation that the car had pretty much paid for itself as a hire car this summer-but it isn't really :(
