Hi all.

Dan, who moderates the forum, advised me that there were a few problems with your insurance policies with Flux. I am the customer service manager at Flux so my aim is to help as much as I can.

I am not curently at work but what I will do is post some stickies about why we have to ask for forms, what happens when you claim, why brokers have to do certain things which may seem like a pain.

You can speak totally freely to me - my aim is not to be here to be an insurance 'stiff' - it's just to be human and help out. I think everyone makes mistakes and we'd be naive to think that as a company, we don't - so if we do then we absolutely need to put them right.

For reference, I drive an Ibiza (sorry).

welcome along, still not received my quote that i even pm'd dan the info for. was told by dan it was a technical issue with the computers that weekend so ive since written off the idea of using yourselves as even with his intervention i never received a quote, still there are many companies out there waiting to snap the cash from my wallet.

I must say - I asked Dan to do a quote for me and he was most helpful. Thankyou for all the help Dan. I know I was a pain :D

It's a shame that AF themselves were still charging £100 higher than my cheapest quote. (This is probably due to my age).

Welcome Jenny, although not sure why you thought a Volvo would be more welcome than a Seat, on a VAG forum :D

I have to say, I have no idea. I clearly had a moment there! I've just had some surgery and the painkillers are fairly strong :) edit.... edit.....

Can i ask how long a quote normally takes ?

I went through the whole routine lastnight, and it said an email would be on it's way.

Still not received anything as of yet.

My renewal is in 14 days time, so pretty keen to get more quotes in.

If i can have your surname and postocde i can chase it up for you. It normally takes a day or less for the quote to come back for you.Dan.

You're lucky... I've prevously been quoted by AF a figure in excess of double my cheapest quote!
