Ok, so you can probably all guess what I drive... :P

Just picked up as a part exchange in work, a Y reg MK1 Octavia VRS in british racing red, done a genuine 66k miles with full history, so thought Id sign up here as the more I drive it the more appealing it becomes as a keeper.... :D

Will hopefully get some pics up over the weekend, following its first trackday at Llandow tomorrow

Cheers all for the welcome!

I know you all know what a Mk1 Octavia looks like but heres mine anyway, quick few pics before doing anything with it:

**Edit, its not really pink, its a combination of fading light and rain starting! **

Welcome, the best colour to have a Mk1 in but I'm biased.

It's rally red though for future reference which at around a 52 plate was replaced with corrida red.

Yeah Rally Red does tend to fade a little. Polish it with some Mer and maybe a little compound and it will bring it up nice and bright again.

Hello & welcome :)

Welcome to the forum..............copy cat.

Helooo & welcome
