Im in the middle of changing the head gasket on my1996 1.3 felicia pickup, do I need to replace the head bolts or can I use them again.

If they're "stretch bolts" they need replacing. Otherwise it's a judgement call based on bolt condition.

no they are tensile bolts so they don't need to be renewed as such, but take care to inspect them before re-using them in case there are any burrs or torn threads on them, i've seen cylinder blocks ruined for the sake of fitting £10 worth of new bolts before now..

if you are in any doubt to thier integrity just replace them ALL..

Thanks for that, it looks like the first time the head has been off so bolts should be ok.

0.2 to 0.25mm. Undo the lock nut and advance the adjustment screw until it _just kisses_ the top of the valve stem. Back off the adjuster a quarter-turn and tighten the lock nut. More accurate the feeler gauges, quicker and you don't need to buy feelers to do it either!
