All keyed up

Featured Replies

 Parked near our taxi office the other night for 30 mins under well lit area.Come back out to find my car has been keyed all over.

First scratch is a 12" line horizontal on my bonnet and its very deep then the line goes down the whole of the N/S of the car in a wavy line and ends at the rear 1/4 panel and then starts at O/S rear 1/4 panel and goes the whole length to the O/S front wing also in a wavy line.

By the looks and feel of it they are very deep and right through all layers of paint and very ugly looking now:mad: Iam absolutely gutted as this is going to be a costly job 8 side panels and bonnet  looks terrible as is very visible on Metallic Flamenco Red.reported it to the plod as there is a camera in that area but have heard nothing back yet.

Thats absolutely gutting, had some scrotes dent my car a few weeks back, cost me £400 to repair and the police couldnt give a f**k

Thats ****e - no known reason for it happening?

ie ****ed off someone on the road? etc

BTW - Wasn't me. :)

Sorry to hear your news. There are some real scrots out there.:( Do you have fully comp insurance?

Sorry to hear that mate, Is it all through to the primer or are there any bits that might be saveable with a wetsand and buff?

That's sickening. I hope the Police can get something off the tape to catch the B"£%^$£s

G1ts, truly sorry for you

sorry to hear it mate, you could try a touch up kit, with a lot of patience carefully with a 000 size brush from a model shop work your way round. once done use t cut or similar then when carefully worked over and looks virtually invisable wax the car. doesnt work all the time but sometimes it works a treat.

dont get your hopes up aboutt he cctv tape some forces dont even record these days to save money. but if its a digital system it should ahve soemthing.

Cheers guys for that:thumbup:

Its way into the primer and through on all the panels mentioned, looks awful.I can claim on my Taxi insurance as i have Vandalism damage included like normal insurances do but obviously a big NCD loss next time.Non of the panels are T Cut able, its a definite spray job. Will try get some pics up later to see what you think.Just waiting Plod to reply but as SMS says and i agree i doubt if its pointing in that direction or even working.

sorry to hear about that m8, police ant that useful with things like this.

Hope you get it sorted out.

i still reckon if you not going down insurance line to get some primer and paint over it before the panel starts to rust, maybe over time with some AG resin worked into it it wont be as noticable.
