One Year, 13000 miles later I'm still happy!!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

It's been a quick year but I have offically owned our Skoda Fabia vRS for a year.

Back before we bought the car I made a statement about not modding the car, but that last about a month before the mods started.

Most of the miles have been a mixture of work and various meets and briskoda meets travelling up and down the country but I have never once fell out with the car and is simply one of the best cars I have ever owned at present.

Here is a pic of the car at 4 hours in my care.

The start of the mods

Looking at the pic now the black stripes really look out of place with the look of the car!!

The smoky beast on the rolling road when I found out it was putting out 152.7bhp!!

And the car in it's current guise.

Treated the car early this week to a whiteline arb (thanks to Awesome).

So thats the car in a year who knows what the next year, 13000 miles has in store in but if the Czech trip happens then the trusty Fabia wil be making the trip abroad. Think I'm finished modding the car but who knows what could happen next.

Thanks for looking.

Davy

Looking lovely mate, love what you've done to it, really made it your own

"One Year, 13000 miles later I'm still happy!!"

The way my car has been with unreliability, I'd be just happy get 13,000 miles out of it!

13,000 miles in 1 year, it`s taken 6 years to put 22,000 miles on my car.

Ive done 13k miles in 6 months!

I've done 3,000 miles in one year at a cost of about £1/mile in repairs alone!

ouch

I've 20k in a year lol

Big differences Davy, looks good and is ALWAYS bloody clean lol

Looks really good Davy, love the black and yellow theme. Car looks immaculate too.

lol @ the miles... I've owned the fiat 18 months and done 60,000 miles ;)

looking good Davy ;)

There's me thinking I drive too much with 27k in 15 months

That is a top looking motor Davy

another happy skoda owner here, ok ive had a few problems, but nothing that bad (leaky door, xenons, full beam) but mechanically mine is a sound motor and have done many happy hours/miles of driving.

:D Glad you're still happy with your motor. It's depressing though that you've racked up 13,000 miles in 12 months. I've racked up 20,000 miles in 9!

My mileage is even worse  mainly because I put all my miles on cars that aren't mine ;)

Glad you're still pleased with it Davy; it's looking good :thumbup:
