My beloved other half has said yes :D

This means that sadly the Octy will be going, and I must say I will genuinely miss it.

Now the fun begins finding a replacement, I suspect a 944 turbo will be unlikely as most are either overpriced or huuuuge mileage, I suspect we will be looking at either an S or an S2. I would prefer the S2 but would be happy with an S. Wish me luck :)

PS. as Porsche is part of VAG am I allowed to stay ;)

PPS: Its unlikely to be yellow :)

only if we all get a go in it ;)

at the 'ring

Good luck, especially with finding a yellow one. I don't recall ever seeing one (although I have no doubt they existed) and always think of the 968 clubsport or the RUF Yellow bird when the words Porsche and Yellow arrive together :)

Whilst I continue to search for a suitable vehicle I have been playing around with the old online insurance sites. Believe it or not Gocompare.com came up with a quote of £317 for an S2 and thats inclusive of protected no claims/legal assistance/courtesy and car full breakdown cover  Thats £60 less than my Octy !

My mrs never says yes to anything i want.:(

Who says you cant find a yellow 944 !

Buy a used PORSCHE 944 Car - Auto Trader UK

I think it must have been a custom paint job as I have never seen a yellow one before, and to be honest although a big fan of yellow Skodas and Leons I dont think it works on any other car (well, possibly Lamborghini :) )

Nice one - always fancied one

Good luck with the search

Read in Autocar today, Porsche has taken a controlling share (above 35%) of Volkswagon.

Hope you find a nice 944, had a great day out 1989 at millbrock proving ground, driving them round.
