Powerflow Exhausts

Featured Replies

Has anyone any experience of these exhausts. May be getting one in a couple of weeks with a single 6x3" oval tailpipe.

PS I wonder where the young lady on every page works!!!

No experience, but just having a look through the gallery! Some very "interesting" looking cars in there :D

Chris

I had one on my Audi 90 - cat replacement pipe and full system - initially it was too loud (partly due to my twin 3" DTM tailpipes) so I took it back and they changed the back box for me FOC.

Never had another problem with it in two and a half years - sounded ace too.

Three people at my work have them now - on an Alfa 147, Beemer 318 and a Paxo VTS, and all are happy with them. The sound is deeper than standard but not offensive.

Of course if you want loud they can do that for you!!

I'll be getting one for my Audi Coupe as soon as I've raised the cash :D

Oh, and that "lady" doesn't work at Alpha in Leeds!

Had a powerflow decat on mine; now on Pauls. It was quite loud, the worst bit was the resonance (sp?) at crusing speed.

The adabability of there work is a plus, cannot say as to the quality owing to the franchise nature.

Of note is that the system I had, retained the original cat for mot testing as a replacement section of pipe.

Fitment was better than the miltek's, unless it's on Pauls ;)

Would twin 4" round pipes fit the bumper cut out?

I'm not sure, probably not.

But the Leeds guys cut the bumper if needed - they do a very neat job.

They will do whatever you want & with sports cat if required. Prices are competetive as well

Thanks guys,

Have got it booked in for middle of the month now, and he will do the cut out for the back bumper. Have told him I want it a bit louder but nothing silly. I did think about getting twin exhausts at each side because he said he could fabricate them for me if I wanted!

Then I would have to start wearing a burberry cap though!!

:)

I had a Powerflow exhaust on mine - twin 3" - just fitted in the cutout (and i mean just!) was quite loud. Was perfectly happy with it until i got the chance to go for a full decat H&S system at a price i couldnt say no to!

As things have turned out i'll probably have the H&S taken off now and the Powerflow one put back on!

Had my powerflow on for a couple of months now with no problems. Had 4 exhaust from Unique Exhausts in Stafford an he always does a top job.

It is Unique

Based on my experiences:

Looks:

It's custom built so you get what you want.

Sound:

On my old vRS it was nice and fruity but not too loud. Used to love driving around in third with the window open - sad I know :)

Quality: :thumbdwn:

Utter sh 1te when you get underneath and have a good poke around hence why I wasn't able to remove it and put it on the new one.

Cost:  :thumbdwn: Borderline when I come to think of it but not bad for a custom installation.

Guarantee:

Can't argue with a lifetime guarantee but only whilst it's on the vehicle and it needs to be taken back for an annual inspection.

Recently a PowerFlow station/garage/point (what do you call them?) opened up here in Aylesbury... am quite tempted to poke a few holes in the exhaust so I have an excuse to visit them ;)

Phil at Unique is a top bloke.

I had a 2.5" Cat back system then he put on my Jabba sports cat/dp at a later date.

Cost was
