i did not have anything to do this morning so i put my old dv on but connected it to the intake pipe and blanked off the pipe that goes to the turbo. it sounds like a rally car but is it safe if its not then i will go back to my forge 007

Hahahahah oh good god man what have you done!!

You've connected it to the wrong hose! Take it off now!

It's essentially doing nothing how you have it connected, other that letting unfiltered air into the turbo when you lift off the throttle. You've blanked the boost pipe, so your just running with no DV atall now! How does it drive!?

If you wanted to have a play, you should have blanked off the hole in the intake pipe (where you have the valve fitted) and fitted the DV to the boost pipe (which you have plugged up!!). You just need to swap it around mate.

Even then, the car wont like it. Gotta be a recirc one to keep it happy.

Turbo stall between gear changes must be fun!!!

I'd be budgeting for a new turbo very soon, as thats what you will need if you keep the setup like this.
