is hsving kids really that bad? lol

Nah, I wouldn't change being a Dad for the world. Except maybe doing it again in the next few years. Its hard at the start, then they get really fun. Just muck in and help out all you can, as a bloke you feel pretty useless sometimes.

Babies aint even that expensive if you don't want them to be. Evie has been brought up on hand me downs from my neice, sensond hand toys (freecycle is cool) and budget buggies etc, no need to spend hundreds on mamma and pappas stuff for example.

The real killer is childcare, feck me that ruins me everymonth, £500 for four mornings a week, jees.

how much?!! to be far he misses has being keeping her eye out for bargains, like nappies etc, we have a far bit already. but child care sounds expensive. can get a remap for less than that!!

kids are the best thing ever , dont half change your life tho , when mine were here i worried what they were up to , now i worry more.

eldest is in uni in sheffield and doing brill, youngest is at college and in a band really wierd them not being here

Its shocking.

Ask your employer about Busy Bee vouchers. Its a nifty idea where childcare is deducted from your wages prior to them being taxed. Thus you save money by paying less tax on your wages, you can both do it. It doesnt cost your employer anything (in fact saves them on there NI contributions iirc) all they have do is fill in an application online.

Babies are hard work, you also don't get a lot back from them at the start. But when you see the first smile its all worth it. First time Evie lifted her head on her own and gawped at me I almost cried..lol

They grow up fast though so enjoy it..lol.
