Temp warning when cold

Featured Replies

With the first chilly morning at the beginning of the week I've found an irritating niggle with the car.

When the temp is below 3C (i think) a red thermometer symbol starts flashing on the dashboard (not the snowflake in the MFD). This isn't the main problem, the trouble is that it does not turn itself off, just carries on flashing even if the temperature gets to 10C.

If i turn off the engine and restart then the flashing stops.

Is there any way to make it stop flashing when the outside temperature has gone above 3C?

cheers

andrew
