What colour grill surround should i do...

1) Colour coded...

2) Satin black... like the Audis black optics pack...

3) Dark anthracite?

Anyone done this on a silver car?

On Diamond silver I think it actually looks best in chrome.

Because you can have too much silver.

IMHO a silver car would look awful with a silver grill and grill surround.

I could kind of understand doing the surround in silver but it isn't to my tastes.

IMHO - OE chrome or matching body colour Silver; nothing else.

Silver or leave Chrome - anything else would look tat IMO

what about brown?

I contemplated doing this on my silver and decided that I'd leave the chrome.

Decided to go with colour coded. Really grown on me, looks sportier and possibly better in flesh.. well happy...

Looks good - it makes a massive difference IMO - they should come like that from the Factory too.

I agree; any Octavia looks better with a colour coded grille, the vRS particularly with its colour coded bumpers etc. Certainly vRS should be colour coded as standard; give the car more of a 'stealth' look.

Also makes the car actually LOOK Sporty from the front too

It's been properly done, chrome taken back, sprayed laquer and baked on so hopefully it'll last ok...
