Not seen anything on the telly this year about the rally. I used to love Rally Report years back when it was the Lombard RAC Rally. Since it became the WRC coverage has gone downhill, with very little of the lower ranks/club level being shown. Ive marshalled for the rally a few times in Grizedale, back in the early 90s, and always found the later runners a lot more entertaining than the top ranks.

that's always a consideration - if the FIV would have trouble getting to a serious off there would be bigger questions asked that the 'are drivers puffs' issue that seems to be the general opinion.

Having tyres running 6 degrees below what ntheir working temperature should be is a massive isse.

See Leob was initially given a 10sec penalty for jumping the start of the 2nd last stage. Thank god for On-boards as he was robbed. At least they made good the mistake, but he really had to push hard to make up the difference as the time was not given back until after the finish.
