Stickers

I've got about 20 of them sitting in my office at home.:):D:P

are we talking about the Suprising Skoda ones, or the Skoda ones for the rear panel asked for at the start of the question

The ones for the rear panel.Silver background, SKODA wording in the centres with loads of black dots on them.Fitted to May 1986 cars onwards.Only problem is they have about 8 inches of damp on them and have lost their sticky in that area, but are otherwise'New Old Stock'. I sold 5 to a chap in Hungary earlier in the year and he got on ok with them.Cranes of Marsham want £25 plus P+P each for them - RIP OFF!!!

There seems to be some issue about whether sunstrips are legal in terms of MOT's. See sunstrips mot - Google Search Something to do with obstructing driver vision

Don't know if this would affect the surprising skoda sunstrips but worth investigating before getting any made up I guess.

OK, before I start getting quotes and the like, are you happy to sell any of your rear panel stickers to Briskodians Skorob? If no, I will enquire about getting those made up new as well.

Also, I will ask at my MOT test station about sun strips.

TH

Not all sunstrips are illegal.....its to do with the amount of windscreen they cover. The 'Suprising Skoda' stickers in the shot above is in no way illegal. What is illegal are the ones fitted by some boy racers (and chavs!) that cover 1/3 of the screen.....Ive even seen one with 1/3 at the top and 1/3 at the bottom...must have been like driving in a letter box!

Seen some mention of one's above the line of the sun visors when folded out being failed. Not sure if that's over-zealous MOT testers applying the rules too firmly.

Someone drove into the back of my Estelle 130GL a few days ago. I'm repairing it, but need a rear panel sticker. Do you still have any stickers Skorob, or did you get any made up Tailhappy?:thumbup:

OMG How bad was the damage?

Maybe the other car liked the Estelle that much it went for full penetration!!!!

I like the Suprising Skoda sticker. The Favorit is a surprising car!!!!

So sorry to hear about that Dave - I feally feel for you as someone did that to me.:(:thumbdwn:

Well, I was waiting to hear from Skorob about the stickers he had. They had some slight water damage at one end he said (glue dodgy) but they are OK apart from that I think. If he is able to help us out it would be great as the two places I visited said that it would be very costly to make up the panel stickers (due to the size and colours used).

Skorob - did you manage to sort the stickers out?:)

TH

;)I might have found some!
