cheers mate, any idea on cost? stupidly expensive or a couple of pennies?

I think the Mk1 grill badge is about £9.

Yep paid £9 for mine recently. Skoda Main Dealers are the best place for these things. You will be pleasently surprised on prices. They come with a double sided sticky pad. Mine is still on the car.

mine didnt come wi the sticky pad.

just the black vrs backing that needs to be glued on then the facia with the tape on. i used the locktite gel glue and some stuff i used to put the brackets on for the milotec grills. seems ok so far but i do have the wire mesh grill i made myself not the std placi one.

when i bought one it comes as a badge, with a sticky pad and a black plastic plate. basically stick the badge with strong glue to the grill, leave for a while with a bit of pressure on it and then unpeal the sticky tape and stick the badge on top of it.

there are some of these on ebay the old style mk1 badges anyway, bit of a stupid question but does the mk2 front grill badge fit? sorry to jump on your thread
