Cheapest place to buy OEM spares?

Featured Replies

Where is the best/cheapest place online (or otherwise) to buy genuine Skoda service parts. Having just bought my Superb I was intending buying all the service parts (filters - fuel/oil/pollen/air, PD oil) and Cambelt/Tensioner (when it is due) then getting the Skoda dealer to service using my parts. I am hoping this will save me a bit of money. Dealers must put a mark up on parts.

Thanks.

I doubt you will save a lot, even if the dealer agrees to do it: the labour is the most expensive part. The way to save money is to use genuine parts and independent labour (yourself or another garage), but although technically this should leave you covered by warranty, you might have to argue it. The usual places to get parts are GSF or Euro.

I usually use VW Parts - Audi Parts as most of their stuff is made by Febi/Bilstein which is OEM quality.

Yeah i use them too, always fast delivery aswell.

I use GSF. They have decent quality parts also.

buy the parts and get an independent to do it to make it cheaper. AFAIK Skoda and most garages will refuse to use anything other than parts supplied by themselves. Your best bet is a decent backstreet garage that gets lots of customers.
