right i have just changed cars and chaning the cd player from one to the other, the sterio dosent get any power in the new car i took the connectors and plugged it in should of worked as its another fav, iv checked all the fuses i can find it still works fine in the old car, any ideas ? im very tempted to just take the fuse box from the old car and put it in this one then again new one has central locking so could be a problem :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Have you checked the earth connection?

Are you using one of those iso connectors? sometimes you have to swap one wire to make it live with the ignition.

Have you tried following the live wire back to the source as there may be a hidden fuse somewhere.

yeah checked that the old casset player dosent work in there either, it is an ISO connection no fuses that i can find its really confusing as its basicly unplugged from one car into an identical car lol

Have you checked the fuses on the stereo's wiring loom? Also I would check there is voltage present on the orange and red wires with a multimeter. Black probe wire on metal bodywork, positive probe on each of the wires connectors in turn.

yeah i pluged it back in to the old car n was fine. . . . . oooo i hadnt thort about checking that thanks will do tomorrow
