Something a little different from me here, don't usually do 'people photography' but would be pleased to hear your comments on this one.

Was taken up at the Whitby Gothic Weekend last Saturday.

How was Whitby this year? Did you avoid the dreaded Whitby Flu?

Hhhmm, echoes of a portrait of Hazel Jenner Martyn (Lady Lavery, wife of the painter Sir John Lavery) in her Kinsale cloak who used to appear on the pre-Euro Irish banknotes.

That looks like a painting in my university - How random!

I like gothic shots, but why did you go to an Abbey then post one with no background? :confused:

It's the "kind of smiling but not smiling" expression that made me think of it. Nothing more, nothing less :P

I was in Whitby for the weekend, stayed at the Leeway.

Was amazed at the number of Gothed up PT Cruisers there were. I was there with the GothSaab (old dark green 9000 Aero with the Ed, the skull and roses on the parcel shelf).

It will hopefully be replaced with a much more suitable TDi Superb, much better for cruising the Whitby streets ogling hot goth chicks. Yes they might pull a face, but they love it if you are another goth. It is just the non-goth pervs they hate trying to grab a grope.

I agree, but we haven't see any of those. Could you post some? I like church/abbey/cathederal/castles etc.....
