Hi when my mum uses her Fel at night she often finds she need to use the lights! lol

however as she drives the battery light starts to get stronger and stronger as if the alt isnt re-charging the bat.

Any one had this problem?

If the battery is holding charge and the alternator drive belt is tensioned well enough, might be a case of replacing just the voltage regulator (shouldn't cost much) or the whole alternator.

I've a nasty feeling the alternator isn't putting out enough power to cope with running the electrics. Take the car to an auto electrician cos they'll probably test it for free, and have an exchange alternator on hand that they'll swap in while you wait if the existing unit is duff.

How much are they? thanks for the feedback, my mum is skint so il prob end up paying for it! lol
