Hi Skoda owners!

Started looking around the site the other week so thought id now say Hi! Seems a good busy site with lots of info around which is spot on

I have been living in an out of 106's since driving really (bar my old Integra). Got stuck in the old great handling tin can scenario!

Any how I still own a 106 lol I just couldn't part with it!

Me an the Mrs needed a bigger car as we have a little one on the way and I knew the car I had in mind.

We managed to find a Octavia Vrs based localy an fell in love with it straight away. We went on a routine trip to collect some eBay bits an came back with a car haha! It seems a great car for what we need, I hope it does up good in the next few years.

Heres some pics of the 106... Half decent spec on it as I use it for track days (when I have time - almost never :()

No pics of the Skoda yet as Iv not cleaned it properly since bringing it home.

haha cheers - As nice as a Fabia would be I wouldn't leave my french hatches  To much fun an too many memories.

On those rollers it made 119bhp - They were under reading a tadd tho as all 16vs were making less than standard with full breathing mods lol

Its a fun car though, nippy with awsome handling. For the £££ it owes me I couldn't ask for anything more really.

Hiya from another closet Francophile!

What Pug in the trackday shot? ;) I got kinda distracted by the Kadett and the M*n* Clubman!

Hello and welcome. I used to race a PUG 205 1.9GTI - what an amazing handling car that was, however good call with the octy, there's no way I could of driven the 205 every day .

I had a 106 before my VRS and I think they are cracking little cars apart from the lift off oversteer, "lost" mine on wet roundabouts many a time but i'm a rubbish driver I guess:thumbup: I would still love a Mark 1 Rallye today anyway welcome:D

Yeah your not wrong there - Back end is rather twitchy! Mk1 Rallyes are so much fun - Iv owned a few S2 Rallyes (one 16v) but this S1 is lots better :D

Can't wait to finish my house in the Spring so I can start track days again!
