Featured Replies

Does anyone know anything about these?

do these have the same engine as the sporty megane?

has anyone had one? what was your experience like?

Is it the one with the clever 4WS and 4WD? if it is, I saw one tested against the latest mundeo round a handling corse, and the laguna was better..... though all the press were bribed to put fords first! lol.......

They have 4WS but not 4WD AFAIK

and from what I've found out it's got a de-tuned Megane 225 engine :) sweet.

another bonus is the insurance is cheaper than my current octi tdi

the 4WS allegedly feels wierd, but actually works really well in practice 9from what I've read, haven't driven one!)

I will be test driving one tomorrow. I do like the sound of all the equipment for the price but part of me still wants to keep the octi as it's all paid for but has an extra 103,500 miles over the Laguna in 2years

Right then.

It was very quiet on the twisties and quite comfy. However the biting point on the clutch was very high (and I also tested the 2l petrol and the 1.9tdi) and they were all the same, all had crunchy gearboxes, juddery brakes, engine felt detached from the car, side mirrors are odd sizes and dont let you see a great deal, you don't sit in the car you sit on the car and don't feel like your part of it.

It's a :thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn::thumbdwn: from me.
