OK, so I know the definitive answer for this will be got from

going to a bodyshop and getting them to look at it but...

If you have a dent in your door that's roughly a foot in diameter,

but not particularly deep (talking maybe half a mm tops at

the deepst point), and the paints not broken, do you reckon

it would be possible to have it pushed/pulled back into shape?

Or am I going to be looking at a new door?

Why not try DentMaster; they just stick a bar in between the door trim and door panel and ease out the dent.

They are mobile and it costs

Try going behind the Rover garage on a saturday morning in Bolton as the Dent people have an open morning and generally charge

I'm not too familiar with Bolton - do you have a name for the Rover dealer? And are the

dent people part of the dealership, or are you just using it as a landmark?

Apologies, its behind the BOC car showrooms on Manchester Rd, use the M61/A666 from the M62 towards Bolton, watching out for the numerous speed cameras as the road becomes a dual carriageway (50 mph!). You need to exit at the first junction after the motorway ends, turn left at the top, then first left behind the showrooms. The dent people are independents, apparently they used to be with Dentmaster.

A friend of mine is very pleased with the service that they offered.
