Anyone used this tuner? Chip N Spin.....

Featured Replies

I have a friend who apparently has had a remap by these guys.

Im currently after a remap myself for my Furby vRS - probably with Jabbasport, but has anyone any experience or heard anything with this tuner?

Cheers, Si

Probably one of the many dodgy tuners that are cropping up that get the software off the net and fiddle with it. Results in blown turbo's and massive torque spikes

EDIT

Chip 'N' Spin - ECU Tuning

According to their site they uk ChippedUK software so they might be ok.

Have heard of them alot on another forum I use, never had the pleasure of remapping,

Another recomendation for P-Torque from me - I travelled over 100 miles for my remap and exhaust (they had a really good offer on) and was very happy with the service.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the recommendations

not everyone has a perferct experience when they visit any tuner, so far i have paid 3 tuners for work(all site sponsers) and between them i have been threatened with a visit from the boys, basically done over for 3k and the best experience i've had so far involved a cheap price and half decent work(only a couple loose bolts(one of them being the sump plug)). the only guy i've visited and had nothing but good work from and honesty is Ross(AKA Lummox, the guy who has started unit 18 automotive). can't fault the man in any way.

Ross (Lummox) is now doing remaps!
