Help - Frustration !!!!!! Central Locking problem

Featured Replies

Folks

Does anyone know why the following has happened.:confused:

To summarise

1. Central locking on O/S rear passenger door was playing up and stopped working altogether. Then the door deadlocked.

Fortunately I had the door card off and the mechanic was able to break the lock from the inside and get the door open again.

He fitted a new lock mechanism which was working.

Then the door deadlocked again !!!!, within 2 mins of being fitted. Anyone know why it has done this.

We then disconnected the battery in a vain attempt to try and get the lock to reset but it is still deadlocked.

Be grateful for answer / solutions

You need to run vagcom and see what error code you get.
